Thien Than shelter (Address: 296, Area 3, Group 9, Dong Hai hamlet, Tan Hai commune, Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau) takes care of and nurtures more than 75 children with disabilities, cerebral palsy, mental illness, and orphans. Due to the difficult economic conditions and lack of facilities, Soeurs who take care of the children here has to work in the fields and raise livestock to earn extra income maintaining Thien Than Shelter.
On the morning of January 13th, NHG’s leaders, staff, teachers, students and sponsor’s representatives – Hudson Global Scholars Organization – partner to implement the American Baccalaureate Program of Providence Country Day – Vietnam Campus visited and encouraged Soeurs. At the same time, on behalf of the Group and sponsors, Ms Hoang Thi Le Trinh, Deputy CEO of NHG, presented 150 million VND to Thien Than Shelter and more than 400 gifts of nutritious drinks, food, and clothes. She hoped that these gifts supported as well as gave more motivation to Soeurs to continue caring for children at Thien Than Shelter.
With the spirit of “Giving is receiving”, NHG and members of the group are trying and spreading the message of love to everyone. Besides that, they contribute to bringing difficult situations and people faith and joy in life.
