On July 9, 2024, Little Roses Foundation (LRF) organized the Panel Discussion on “Education Change” & Launched the Loving Scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year with the participation of:

Ms. Truong Nguyen Bao Tran – Deputy Director of LRF
Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen, PhD in Education
Dr. Tran Thanh Huong – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Education, University of Social Sciences and Humanities
Ms. Le Ngoc Thu Trang – Founder & CEO of Tracybee
Along with more than 70 guests representing about 30 businesses, social organizations, universities and parents, students receiving scholarships in the 2023-2024 school year.
Opening the discussion, Dr. Do Manh Cuong inspired the entire audience with an impressive presentation on the definition of “education”. From the success story of the initiative to change the lives and enhance the values of the children at Ben San Leprosy Hospital and the practical experience of more than 40 years of working in the education management field, he summarized that concept with three simple keywords: Dignity, Charity and Education: an activity to provide an environment and conditions to help people develop and maximize their potential, thereby living fully with human dignity.
Following the positive energy from Dr. Do Manh Cuong’s speech, the panel discussion session was very lively with data, research and emotional stories about the journey to school of each speaker. Although viewed from different perspectives, from an expert, a businessman or a mother, everyone emphasized the importance of investing in education in many different ways so that children can have a better future. In addition to the warm and frank sharing, the speakers also offered a number of solutions for students to have the best journey to school, notably raising community awareness about education, supporting parents to accompany their children in an appropriate way or building a transparent and responsible management system…
In particular, the Loving Scholarship is a meaningful project, introduced by LRF at the discussion and calling for the support of partners to jointly implement in the 2024-2025 school year. The scholarship does not only stop at supporting students financially but also accompanies them throughout their learning process to promptly recognize and help them overcome difficulties, provide them with more knowledge and life skills to prepare them for life, and demonstrate their value to the community.
